Why Saturday Church Matters

A dynamic stage photo of a musical performance of "Saturday Church." A Black male lead actor, dressed in a sparkling patterned suit, sings into a microphone under a spotlight center stage, with his arms outstretched. Around him, a diverse cast of ensemble members are posed in various energetic positions. The stage set features three large stained-glass window arches, evoking a church interior, with "SATURDAY CHURCH MUSIC & LYRICS BY SIA" illuminated above. The lighting is dramatic, highlighting the performers against a dark background.

  • Stellar creative direction: Helmed by Tony nominee Whitney White, with choreography by Darrell Grand Moultrie, orchestrations by Jason Michael Webb & Luke Solomon, and a powerhouse design team.
